Privacy Policy — Perfection

This policy explains what information Perfection ("the App," "we," "us") collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. Perfection is developed by Grisham Interactive. It applies to both the web version and the Android app.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

• Display name — a first name and last initial you choose (or that we pre-fill from your Google account if you sign in), shown on leaderboards.

Information collected automatically

• Gameplay data — your scores, levels completed, streak counts, and attempt history, used to run the game and leaderboards.
• A device/account identifier — either a random anonymous ID generated the first time you play, or your Google account's unique ID if you choose to sign in. This identifier links your saved progress across sessions.
• If you sign in with Google — we receive your name and Google account ID from Google, used only to set your display name and link your saved progress to your account.

Information from third-party services

We use Google's advertising and analytics services (described in Section 3), which may independently collect device identifiers, approximate location, and ad interaction data under their own privacy policies.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To save your progress and let you continue where you left off
• To operate the Perfection Mode and Daily Streak leaderboards
• To provide the referral/streak-freeze system
• To display advertising that supports the free version of the game
• To diagnose bugs and keep the game working correctly

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your gameplay data for anything beyond running the game itself.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

Google Firebase (Authentication & Database)

We use Firebase to store your game progress and leaderboard entries, and to handle sign-in (including anonymous play and optional Google Sign-In). Firebase is operated by Google; see Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Advertising (AdSense, Ad Placement API / H5 Games Ads, and AdMob)

The web version uses Google AdSense and Google's Ad Placement API; the Android app uses Google AdMob. These services may collect device identifiers and usage data to show and measure ads, and may use this data for ad personalization depending on your settings and region. You can review or adjust ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in, authentication is handled by Google. We only receive your name and account ID, not your password or other Google account details.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

The web version uses browser local storage and, where necessary, cookies set by Google's services above to keep you signed in and to serve ads. You can clear these through your browser settings, though doing so may reset your local game state on that device.

5. Children's Privacy

Perfection is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will remove it.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your gameplay data for as long as your account remains active. You can permanently delete your data and account yourself at any time — either from within the app (Delete My Data, in the footer), or at perfectionthegame.app/delete-data.html, which works even without opening the app. Prefer not to sign in there? Contact us using the details below with your in-game display name and we'll delete it manually.

7. Data Storage and International Transfers

Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, which may process and store data in the United States and other countries where Google operates data centers.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the App changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
